First of all I would like to welcome you all to our site and this blog. This blog is designed to carry you through a series of health and wellness related articles, features, and personal data that I have collected and continue to collect on this journey of TRUE HEALTH expression.
This first blog is designed to give everyone a basic and very true understanding of what Chiropractic is and why it is so essential to the human race! ...yes I said it...human race....that includes YOU! It is my belief that Chiropractic is still in its infancy when it comes to patient education and mass community awareness. It is also my belief that through mass marketing and patient education the profession will grow to the extent that everyone will have a Chiropractor on their health care team in the same way that everyone has a Dentist, primary MD, a local gym, etc. So lets begin this journey with a summation of the fundamentals of Chiropractic in its truest and most natural state.
True Health is not about how you feel. It is about how you heal and how your body ultimately functions. The Nervous System is the vital link between body and brain. It dictates every single minute function in the body down to the cellular level. Because everyone is gifted with an innately-healing and self-regulating body, it is essential for the nervous system to maintain accurate communication between brain and body. Interference to this vital link via chemical, emotional, or physical stresses will lead to a less than ideal expression of health. Chiropractors address these various interferences, specifically those caused by vertebral spinal misalignments, which may add undo pressure to the nerves exiting the spine. Removal of these nerve interferences, termed a subluxation, is what will allow your body to innately heal and thrive at PEAK levels. This is why Chiropractic care is as essential as brushing your teeth and eating a proper diet for everyone!
